Skyping With a Dinosaur Hunter

Pond Springs Elementary 2nd graders got a SWEET surprise on Friday.  Through the wonder of Skype, they were able to talk with a real life dinosaur hunter during their SWEET (School Wide Exciting Enrichment Time) with Mrs. Rountree.  The SWEET program at Pond Springs allows students to explore and cultivate their special interests and talents.

Pond Springs Students Create "Wonder" Website

Pond Springs students have been reading the book "Wonder" by R. J. Palacio.  They have created a website around the book where they can post work they have done around the theme of kindness.  Check it out!

Teresa Parkinson's 3rd Grade Class has been using Google Drive to collaborate on writing and math projects.

Robolab at Pond Springs Elementary

The Pond Springs Elementary Robolab Club participated in the RRISD Robotics Showcase on April 30th.  They brought their Robotic Zoo creatures, and also participated in the Sumo Bot competition.  It was great fun!
