A Cake Alien Lands at PSE!
Author Matt McElligott visited Pond Springs and taught the students how to draw a cake alien using a computer!

It's a SWEET Story at PSE!
Kindergarten and First Grade students at Pond Springs are creating SWEET Stories during their SWEET Friday time in the library. The students use legos to create scenes from their stories, and then use PhotoStory to create a digital movie telling the tale. SWEET!

100% of Me!
Students in Mrs. Mulbry's TAG class made a graphical representation of themselves. They used Microsoft Excel to create categories representing their personality traits, and then used that to create pie charts.

Biographies with Ms. Shelton's Class!
Ms. Shelton's 3rd grade class created Vokis, PowerPoints or Paper Slides for their biography project. Students researched a famous person, and then chose a way to present it using technology. Some chose Vokis. Here is an example:

Other students chose PowerPoint. After the projects were complete, they presented their project to the class.

Fifth Graders Skype with Author Kate Messner
Mrs. Moshier's Fifth Graders skyped with author Kate Messner at the end of November. Mrs. Mosier said, "the kids really did a great job with this and were definately HUGE hams seeing themselves on camera!"
