Mrs. Shoemate's Class: What I Want to Be When I Grow Up
Mrs. Shoemate's class created green screen videos about their future plans using the app Green Screen on their iPads. Then, they uploaded them to Aurasma so their parents could view them on their smart phones at parent information night.

Minecraft is SWEET at PSE
We are using the educational version of the Minecraft game at PSE for SWEET time with 4th and 5th grade. Read all about our adventure here.
By implementing SWEET Friday time, our students at PSE will choose engaged learning activities, make real-world connections, and take ownership of their learning. Through collaboration and problem solving, they will develop self-awareness, communication, and leadership skills.

Skyping With a Dinosaur Hunter
Pond Springs Elementary 2nd graders got a SWEET surprise on Friday. Through the wonder of Skype, they were able to talk with a real life dinosaur hunter during their SWEET (School Wide Exciting Enrichment Time) with Mrs. Rountree. The SWEET program at Pond Springs allows students to explore and cultivate their special interests and talents.
